Uta Kapp is a consultant, trainer and coach for software development. She assists companies in business and management issues. Agile software development is the key to produce software in time and budget while controlling risk. As a trained systemic coach she helps teams to become self-organized and resolve their conflicts. Focus on the client needs requires continuous innovation and interactive communication which is fostered by an agile framework like Scrum.

Uta Kapp studied Computer Science (B.Sc. Hons.) and worked as a developer for companies in Germany like Bosch and Sun Microsystems. She now is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org.

To Uta working in networks means to walk your own talk and being agile yourself. The main partners here are Scrum-Events, Scrum.org and Agile-Improvement-Academy.
Scrum-Events is the facilitator of the Scrum-Day in Germany, the largest platform for agile software development in Germany. This is where Uta attended the first course on SaFe held by Leffingwell in Germany in 2012. Scrum-Events works with trainers and consultants, representing a variety of different agile concepts.
As Scrum trainer and coach Uta has worked with many large companies in Germany and Switzerland. As a PST for Scrum.org she trains mostly Product Owner in these companies. They work with inhouse Product Owners and outsource the development work to India, Eastern Europe and smaller German software companies. Uta has also worked with software companies in Rumania, Macedonia and Serbia (for USAID in Serbia). These companies again work for large companies in Germany, Netherlands and Scandinavia.

Uta has contributed to a book on large scale agile with 13 articles written by authors with experience in large enterprises: “Agiles IT-Management in großen Unternehmen” published by Hans-Peter Korn and Jean Pierre Berchez.
